The Yayasan UTP Education Grant is a partial financial assistance programme to finance the tuition fees of outstanding students from low to middle-income families in recognition of their academic achievements.

Foundation Programme

Duration of sponsorship: 5 years
Award: Tuition fees up to RM50,000

Application criteria:

• Malaysian 
• Open to PTPTN or self-sponsored students ONLY
• Household income of RM6,000 or below
• Obtained a minimum of 8A- in SPM (including Grade A- in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English) or;
• O-Level (minimum Grade B in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English)
  

Opening date: December, April & August

Undergraduate Programme

Duration of sponsorship: 4 years 
Award: Tuition fees up to RM80,000

Application criteria:

• Malaysian 
• Open to PTPTN or self-sponsored students ONLY
• Household income of RM6,000 or below
• Obtained a minimum CGPA of 3.50 in Matriculation/Foundation or;
• STPM – minimum CGPA 3.50 (at least Grade A- in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) or;
• A-Level – at least Grade B (equivalent GPA 3.7) in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or;
• International Baccalaureate – minimum point 35 (at least Point 5 in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) or;
• Diploma – minimum CGPA 3.50 (at least Grade B in Mathematics in SPM)
